SADC is building real, profitable companies around the special interests and lived experience of our community—businesses that create Autarian jobs while genuinely serving Simcoe County. Two are underway today: Bus Simcoeland and Transhuronica Logistics.
BSZ Bus Simcoeland Group
Bus Simcoeland takes a classic ND passion—buses and public transport—and builds a community-oriented, community-building, economy-improving business out of it. We're putting the whole concept on the table and recruiting investors through our Autarian platform.
A Profitable, Community-Rooted Carrier
A bus company built to be profitable while serving every community it touches, and building Autarian professional, labour, and technical capacity along the way.
Filling the Gaps
Outside-the-box, collaborative service in partnership with existing operators—covering the gaps other carriers either don't notice or would like to help with but can't.
Autarian/ND School Transport
A combination of public school transport and private school contracts, with private-contract revenue partially subsidizing our public service work.
GTA Route Conversions
For private schools, we target after-school programmes locally, and we target GTA and Southern Ontario schools that currently send buses into Simcoe County daily—converting routes run by carriers in York, Toronto, Peel, and Halton into single round-trip daily runs. These routes go to our best and most senior school-fleet drivers, who get to park up and enjoy the city until it's time to bring their students home.
A Tour Division
A tour division specializing in Autarian, ND, disability, and special-interest-oriented trips—the kind of trips we'd actually want to go on.
BSZ-Regio
Partnering with local municipalities and the County to use our buses to solve regional and local transit challenges.
We want to bring the old-school way of running buses back to Ontario: a company that looks after its staff as much as its passengers, and a professional, proud fleet in it for the good of the community and a better industry. We welcome ND folks who want to become an Autarian driver, and experienced drivers and mechanics who want to join our firm.
Transhuronica Logistics (THL)
Cargo and logistics for Simcoe County and beyond.

THL Cart Management Services (CMS)
CMS is a division of THL bringing cart management to the retail industry, big and small—affiliating with all the major shopping cart maintenance suppliers so we can respond to local service calls instantly, instead of waiting on a technician from Toronto. Store staff currently doing this work transition to THL positions, covered under Autarian labour relations.
CMS exists because Autistics are already pushed toward cart-pusher roles at retail. We're building a real future inside that work, not around it.
Revolutionising CMS
- Mechanising parts of the cart management process
- Local technicians who can make repairs faster than a Toronto-based tech, purely on proximity
- Dedicated teams who recover stray carts from the street so stores don't have to
- Handling commissioning of new carts and decommissioning of surplus ones
- Recognizing cart management as a skilled technical craft—paying and equipping our team accordingly
- Maintaining not just carts, but corrals, baskets, and everything to do with consumer materials handling
THL Local Fulfillment
THL Local Fulfillment aims to revolutionize Click & Collect across our service area. We'd offer to outsource the Click & Collect departments of stores like Walmart, Loblaws, and Sobeys, and fuse that work with THL's transport operations.
- Mechanising shoppers with ride-on carts that cut down on walking and heavy lifting
- Owning our end of the warehouse where loads are picked up, and offering other on-site services alongside whatever contracts we hold at that location
- Serving couriers directly—Instacart shoppers, couriers, and commercial trucks picking up from Click & Collect lanes
- Still serving the consumer demand these lanes were built for during the pandemic, but adapting to a post-pandemic reality where couriers and commercial drivers are the ones who want to use them
THL Local Fulfillment grew out of SADC's founders' own experience in retail food delivery. Together, CMS, trucking and logistics, and Local Fulfillment set an example for how to efficiently serve a region as unique as ours. In Simcoe County, batches are too often missed or kicked to other stores for lack of drivers—THL fixes that with owner-operators in small vans and trucks doing the deliveries, Local Fulfillment making the picking process efficient, and CMS keeping the equipment running.
Community Transport Partners
Bus Simcoeland Group is the transit company we're building for the long term. Day-to-day, our community's transport needs run through a set of partners we work with today:
Torbarrie Transport
Minibuses, buses, and coaches provided by Torbarrie Transport meet SADC's community transport, charter, and shuttle needs for everything Autarians do—from Club outings to Housing Project moves. Torbarrie Transport is an established charter operator we partner with, distinct from Bus Simcoeland Group.
ATMA — Autarian Taxi and Minibus Association
An alliance we're building among taxi, rideshare, and minibus operators of diverse backgrounds, courted to offer community transportation by partnership and contract—service beyond what the meter or the app alone can provide.
AAMSTC — Autarian Automobile, Motorcycle & Snowmobile Touring Club
Our auto club: assistance and member benefits, plus organised activities that build friendship, community, and service around a shared love of vehicles and driving.
